Munchosaurus bannicus
(Dec. 27, 2010) And, of course, it is also time for the annual shot of the dinosaurs at Banning Pass, calmly eating their way past the Morongo Casino. Taken at 70 mph from I-10, so comp and focus literally went out the window.

on December 29, 2010What an incredibly neat shot! The dinosaur looks amazingly real. Hoarfrost is a heavy frost on plants and trees, heavily crystalized like frost, but thicker and larger. It usually occurs when you have freezing fog for quite a bit of time. The longer the fog lasts, the more spectacular the hoarfrost. In contrast, an ice storm actually coats the trees and plants in frozen clear ice.
