Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Flyby (Nov. 7, 2009) I completely forgot it was the Flabob Airport Veteran's Day airshow, until this flew by while I was walking up Mount Rubidoux. Later the Stealth Bomber flew over the house and reminded me to look up what the heck was going on.

I'm getting just a little closer to what I want, and I rather liked the watching shadow on this one. The color version was okay, but the walls on that side of the room are a sickening shade of yellow.

Thanks, Gene. Now I just need to figure out which way to adjust the zoom and EC on the flash - up, down, sideways?
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Red-shouldered Hawk? (October 27, 2009) Taken at the UCR Botanic Gardens. I've seen hawks with these markings just this year. They are about the same size as the Cooper's Hawks, maybe a bit bigger.
