THE TONI PROJECT: I have always known that my sister was famous, although perhaps not well-known to others. She sat on Einstein’s lap, after all, and I have no doubt that she was there when the theory of relativity was discovered, the space program launched, the great novels written, the classic works of arts created, and when the seedling ideas for medical breakthroughs were hatched. However, up until now, her accounts of encounters with the people that have shaped our history and our lives have been discounted due to lack of proof. A few years ago, in my grandmother’s belongings, I discovered an old photo of Toni with Einstein, and The Toni Project was born. The project is dedicated to the pursuit of truth in uncovering the scientific documentation and photographic proof of Toni’s influence on famous personages throughout history.

The lost photos from the 2006 year of The Project have been restored. They were dedicated to Toni's cultural and musical outreach with Gertrude Stein, Alice Toklas, the Weavers, Pete Seeger and Lead Belly. The 2007 efforts were dedicated to Toni's outdoor explorer years, 2008 depicted Toni's early efforts toward negotiating world peace, and, in honor of the election and presidential succession, this year reminds us of Toni's influence on early American history and presidents.
