Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Don't touch

(Nov. 14) It felt like a good day for spiky things.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Car alarm

(Nov. 13) The jag hoodie was on a Ford. I don't know if that is sacrilege or irreverence. I'm leaning toward the latter. Jim says it's a corporate statement, since Ford owned Jaguar for a while. I didn't know that. If it's a statement, it's lost on the majority of the population like me. And if you want to know what kind of a Ford, it was a purple one.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Left, left, left-right-left! Keep ahead of the kilts, lads.

(Nov. 12) I love a local parade, since they seldom make much sense. These were local minute men militia followed by the UCR Highlanders (Scottish veterans?) all marching down the Flabob Airport runway.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Way to go!

(Nov. 11) Today was the annual Mission Inn run, and this family was standing at the top of the last hill for the 10K cheering everyone on. The little 4 year old was the most enthusiastic, telling the runners, "Way to go! You're almost there! It's the home stretch! Relax those arms! C'mon, way to go!" He was telling some of the runners in the middle that they could still win, but his dad stopped him ("Actually they can't, buddy."), so he said, "oh yeah," and went back to, "Way to go!"
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Thumbs up

(Nov. 10) We went to the Flabob Airport Veteran's Day Air and Car Show. They had a small parade down the runway, and this little boy was most taken by the firetruck. The firefighters were equally taken with him.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > be the urn, be the urn, be the . . .

(Nov. 9) This cat was fighting between curiousity as to what Gus was and fear of being discovered. He decided to blend as well as possible with his surroundings.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > The Elephant Man

(Nov. 8) Today was the dress rehearsal of The Elephant Man at Poly High School, Riverside, CA. As usual, it's a stellar production, presented with passion by dedicated young actors. I'll be processing and loading the photos in the "Poly High School Presents" gallery over the week: http://chaosgraphics.smugmug.com/gallery/3799081#219233571
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Excuse me, passing through

(Nov. 7) So there I am, taking a shot of the lake, and a bird just barges through the frame. Honestly, these egrets have no manners.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Did you vote?

(Nov. 6) I did.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > You got a fast car
But is it fast enough so we can fly away
We gotta make a decision
We leave tonight or live and die this way
(from Fast Car -- Tracy Chapman)

(Nov. 5) I'm still playing around with the cemetery car show photos.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Ducks Ahoy

(Nov. 4) The Inland Nautical Society had a regatta at Fairmount Park today. They are very inclusive, and even ducks were welcome.

I found out more about the group on their website, which is well worth a tour:

Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > America's Next Top Model

(Nov. 3) Gus knows how to connect with the camera, catch the light, find different looks, and sell the product (him). And he can work that prop, after he shakes the stuffing out of it.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Running on all cylinders

(Nov. 2) This is clean energy that can burn nonstop.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Alive in memory

(Nov. 1) My old guy, P.T., has been living the good life on a retirement ranch in Colorado, where he has been cared for, fussed over, and loved by the ranch owner. This is a shot I took during a visit to see him last year, when he was 27. It reminds me of what a live wire he was in his prime. Yesterday he passed on to wherever really good horses go when they are done here. Rest in peace, Pete, and thanks, Gay, for taking such good care of him when I couldn't.

Another shot of him from last year:

Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Gus loves Halloween

(Oct. 31) Just a fun shot. Gus was delighted that all the little ghouls and goblins came to the door to pet him. His tail didn't stop wagging all evening.
Don't touch

(Nov. 14) It felt like a good day for spiky things.
