Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Dogtired

(Dec. 16, 2009) Gracey demonstrates the meaning of putting one's dogs up and giving them a rest. In truth, her paws are probably pretty tired. She had a long day at work being our dog.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Get your ducks in a row

(Dec. 15, 2009) Are these canvasbacks?
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Gracey hears a Who

(Dec. 14, 2009) Gracey explored the backyard today and found it satisfactory.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Downbeat

(Dec. 13, 2009) No photo of Gracey today, but she's doing great. Thanks for all the well wishes. No photos at all today. This is from last Tuesday, when I went out to annoy birds at Rancho Jurupa Park.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Evening #2

(Dec. 12, 2009) Gracey leaves the dog bed long enough for a bit of a snuggle.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Meet Gracey

(Dec. 11, 2009) We brought Gracey home from the Riverside Humane Society a few hours ago. So far, she's a little bewildered, but has been exceedingly good. She uses the dog door, is intimidated by Gypsy Rose, and is friendly, cuddly, but calm. She has latched on to the dog bed as a good thing and doesn't want to leave it. Wait till she finds out about the great dane orthopedic bed in the bedroom!
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Pick me, pick me!

(Dec. 10, 2009) This little rock wren really wanted its photo taken.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Don't trust ya' as far as I can throw ya'

(Dec. 9, 2009) Another night of testing and another student did well. This is a throw off of a wrist/arm lock technique. Don't be fooled by the braid. The person being thrown is a second degree black belt, a Tai Chi instructor, and tough as nails.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Twofer

(Dec. 8, 2009) I went to shoot one heron and got a second one for free: Great Blue Heron and Black Capped Night-Heron at Rancho Jurupa Park.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Outgoing

(Dec.7, 2009) Part two of the annoyed local wildlife sequence. The RTH is outgoing, but not in the friendly sense of the word.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Local annoyed wildlife

(Dec. 6, 2009) This Red Tail Hawk was none too happy when I came down the path to take its portrait.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Best Friends Forever (bffs)

(Dec. 5, 2009) I was out running errands and stopped by Riverside Rancheros, hoping to get a daily shot, and was lucky to see these two having a little tete-a-tete.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > A little light reading

(Dec. 4, 2009) Just one of the stacks of final reports that I ignored today.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Hey, stop teasin' the cat!

(Dec. 3, 2009) We got a bird bath last weekend and it's already a big hit, both for the water and the view.
Andrea Kaus (ChaosGraphics) > Bokken take-away

(Dec. 2, 2009) We had a 4th kyu test today in Aikido. Two students tested and passed -- and did very well. This is a technique to take a weapon away. In this case, it's a practice sword, but it could be a baseball bat or another blunt instrument.

The flash worked well but took forever to recharge inbetween shots.
